Time Jump Game!

So I was looking up something about an Owl City remix that got mentioned on facebook, and as I was googling it, Google had a live twitter-stream going on where I could see all the people who were passing on the same information at that very second. I think that's the first time the speed of modern communication and media hit home with me.

So I got to thinking about how our 18th Century pallies would react to this phenomenon and quite distinctly saw in my mind the following reactions:

Alan: Www-whhaa--?
Nathan: Amazing!
Freddy: Ohhh wooowwww!!!!
Knowlton: Hmmmm, we can use this to our advantage. *finds computer*
Howe: What kind of rebel scheme is this? *investigates*

Suddenly the American Revolution took on a whole new light.

So I thought I'd share, and start a little game-pick some modern marvel of our time and imagine what their reactions would be! You can do different characters, more or less characters, and you can even reverse-what would our 21st century cast do if they went back in time?

Ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!! Omg! I have sooo many ideas for this...First of all is Nathan, and something I use in my book with him in it...
Annabella: "You look nothing like all the picture's on the internet!"
Nathan: *sigh* "For the hundreth time, I HATE the internet! Every young vampire I meet say's either I don't look like myself, or they ask if my pictures got mixed up with Marquis de La Feyette! Really, do I look French?!?!?"
Deborah: *puts hand on Nathans shoulder* "Nathan, honey, we're at a wedding. Is this really the time to rant about technology???"
Nathan: *looks at Deborah and shakes his head* "You're right, of course. I just miss the days of pen, paper, and no computers!"

Did you make Nathan a vampire? AAHHH RUNNNN lol

It's ok, Nate! I only use tech out of necessity. I love pen and ink most.

LOL, Nathan...Deborah Samson...La Feyette...Many many more historical figures are mentioned...I have far too much fun with this book...

Oh, and with the exception of the accident with Deborah, Nate's an animal-blood drinker.

It makes more sense if you read it...But it gets kinda strange cuz all these people are supposed to be dead, but somehow got turned. Like I said, I have fun with these books

You should read the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series. Michael Scott has loads of fun bringing back historic figures and legends. I need to get back into those books...I kinda lost track after the third.

Joan of Arc specifically. Loads of others too. Can't say for the newer books.

Don't you think it will be very awkward if Alan met Ben or vice versa? I could totally imagine him sticking a gun at his chest like on the cover of Issue 2.
