OK, I'll admit it, I totally love Alan Warren. Very Happy

One of the things that hooked me on The Dreamer was actually something outside the comic itself - a funny page Lora did after not winning a WCCA award: http://www.drunkduck.com/The_Dreamer/index.php?p=373723

Besides the super-hot Alan pic, I just love the humor in this page! And the extremely professional and good-natured way Lora handled the "loss." Of course, The Dreamer will always be a winner to me!

I think there is very little not to love about Alan. Besides being hot, he really is an incrediably passionate character. I mean besides his feelings for Bea, the passion he shows throughout the comic is so compelling. I feel so bad for Ben when I read the comic because he is such a great guy as well but really he doesn't have a chance against Alan.

Agreed! Well, there is that unknown transgression with Milly Weaver... Very Happy

I like Alan WAAAAAAAY more than Ben. I think it's the pity factor--his cousin died, the love of his life doesn't remember him and he's coming down with what looks a lot like pneumonia. Most of the reasons why I like characters are because I feel bad for them (Faramir Sad )

lol I also think poor Ben has the mistfortune of being from OUR time and we're all way more interested in Alan's so we want her to be with Alan more for that reason.

I think Ben is awesome but I felt his and Bea's relationship was kind of doomed from the start. Razz

I don't know...I was only ever in love with one guy in high school and while it never happened and I've moved on, I still have very strong affection for him...so I don't know about stale...
