Can you tell me where his grave is at Forest Hills? I plan to "visit" him when I'm in Boston soon, but I heard his grave is hard to find...

While I haven't visited the grave myself yet, Forest Hills has a wonderfully updated website, complete with a PDF map:
http://www.foresthillscemetery.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/Forest_Hills_Map_2011_03.pdf
If this doesn't load for you, just go to their Visiting page and download it: http://www.foresthillscemetery.com/visiting/ (There's also an office where you can get maps and directions.)
Dr. Warren's grave is at point B, pretty close to the main gate near the MBTA station stop. Looks like you just follow Mt. Warren Avenue, and it loops around past the gravesite and back to the gate.
I envy you your visit!

Thanks so much! I started freaking out when I realized that e.e. cummings is buried there too. I'll have to bring a flower for both of them!!

I missed e.e.! There are some great names buried there. And wouldn't that make a fun story: the spirits of all these various people mingling around in the cemetery... Anne Sexton and cummings sharing their poetry, Eugene O'Neill trying to get a theater group started (he could recruit Fannie Davenport), Warren and William Lloyd Garrison chatting up the topic of Liberty, and food served by Jacob Wirth and Ruby Foo.
Very Happy

ha ha, that would be cute! e.e. cummings is my favorite poet, and he wrote a book that I love and his drawings were fantastic, too. Can't wait to say 'hi'! Wink

...And then Warren and cummings wonder "Who is that person, leaving us each a flower?" and decide to follow her home. With hilarious consequences... Laughing
By the way, if you're wondering where Joseph Warren's Boston home used to be, it was in the vicinity of the current Department of Labor building in the City Plaza (thank you, Google overlay maps!).
