Who's gonna die?

I'm pretty sure that Alan is going to die in the 18th century, and we all know that Nathan is going to, but I also think that Bea might very well die. Just in the 18th century, of course. That'd solve her dream problem!

And before people yell me down, who's to say she can't find Alan in her own century?

I hope not... and also that they somehow save poor Nathan.

But Knowlton is (historically) going to die soon in a battle. He's also too awesome to die...

Strangely enough, I'm actually worried most about Alan. I might just be being too paranoid, but I believe this great Nathan Hale biography I read mentioned that he had a bad flu when he volunteered to go on the mission for Washington . . . and ever since Alan started coughing I've been wondering if that means he's going to take Nathan's place, at least partially, since Hale's remained quite healthy . . . it's all so intriguing!

That's my crazy theory anyways, I might be totally overthinking things here XD

Gee, that's a cool idea! (Cool in the "interesting" sense of the word, not in the sense that I want Alan to die. ^_^) I'd never heard that before, but it would certainly make for a great twist!

I think it would make sense if they all cop it in the 18th century and then after she blows it with Ben, 21st century Alan shows up and that's how the series ends. But I don't think Alan is going to die just yet. Just scare us a good bit with this sickness of his. We still have a whole bunch more story to get through and it wouldn't be any fun without him! lol It's going to suck royally without Knowlton and Nathan as it is.

Yeah, I don't think Alan's going to die yet...didn't Lora say somewhere there's another couple years worth of Dreamer to do? It's bad enough to lose Knowlton and Nathan: leave us Alan for a little while longer.

Though I did have this thought while vacuuming--the best place for Alan to show up in the 21st century would be the Halloween dance. Bea's already going in that big sparkly 1776 gown...Alan's uniform would fit right in (and you know he'd go nuts to see her in that dress )

I don't want Alan to die, but he might. Bea could die and stay in the 18th sentry forever. It could be her heaven. From what I see, people like Nathan and Knowlton are real people. I'm not American so i don't know, but it's cool that Lora put them in.

Well, I suppose if Alan does die, Bea could hook up with Freddie--they are closer in age, and poor Freddie's going to need some comforting after losing his pa and his two heroes

Bea can't hook up with Freddy... poor Liz would be so heartbroken! Liz/Freddy definitely have their own shippers thanks to that meme!

This made me laugh! It's kinda funny and a little bit awkward. I think you should go ahead with the Liz/Frederick theory. I'm sure you could make it work.
