Dreamer Stamping Community on LJ

I'm think of creating a stamping community for the dreamer on livejournal. I'm not sure, since the main comm is rather dead...could you please join and ve active if you have an lj? It's deux reves.
Just so you know what a stamping community is, it's A community where you fill out an application and answer questions for other members to vote on about which character they think you are most like in a particular category. You can be voted as a number of things, such as characters from books, movies, or television shows; as animals; or in the case of certain Harry Potter related communities, which of the four school houses they should be in. At the end of a certain amount of time (ranging from days to weeks), the maintainers "rate" the original poster and that ends the voting.

I wouldn't say the Dreamer comm is dead, it's just new, and will take time to get going. I love it over there but I'm scared to post there, heh. If you do a stamping community, how would it work? You mentioned different houses, like in HP does that mean you'd have like, Modern people (Yvette, Ben, etc) and then Knowlton's Troops and British Troops and such? Is there a way to combine the main LJ with the Stamping LJ, or do you have to make a new one, it just seems like a lot for the moderater(s) to maintain and upkeep. I'd join it anyways. And seconding what milkbones said: The Dreamer Lj is awesome so everyone reading this, please join!

I should get on LJ more often than I do. Once finals are over I'll make more of an effort.

Yeah it sounds cool, especially with the additional stamps, like the matchmaking and the monthly themes. I thought it was only being stamped once as a character and after that I couldn't see what else there was, but if you had all those extra stampings, I'd be interested!

So if anyone's interested in joining the comm, would anyone like to make the stamp graphics?

*timidly raises hand* I'm always playing around with graphics in fireworks and if no one else wants to do it, I could give it a try.

That looks like something I can do, not as nicely as the examples, but I can always try. So when you get this stamping lj community started, I can start. Any specifics, like how many, what kind of images you'd prefer and you mentioned themes, do you have any ideas what kinds, so I can try to make a batch or do you prefer to get the theme stamps when you need them for the themes?

Sorry for the late reply! I'm thinking of starting it up after volume 3 (when we have a lot more interesting stuff!) And I will recruit you for graphics help!
